The company is primarily engaged in the supply of on-site energy solutions, such as electricity, heat, steam, water, food-grade CO2, and energy back-up services. The company was incorporated in July of 2007. The registered head office of the company is located in Sant Just Desvern, Spain. The company is the independent supplier of clean and efficient energies that manages the investments of ArcLight Capital Partners in cogeneration projects, CO2 recuperation and marketing of food and renewable energy in its country. The company acquires, promotes, develops and manages these assets for a broad portfolio of institutional and industrial customers by providing them with more efficient development and sustainable energy. The company owns 11 industrial complexes managing eight cogeneration plants, two installations for the reduction of olives waste and one biomass plant. The company aims to take on Sustainable Industrial Development as a highlighted value within the decision-making processes of the company; to spread the benefits of energy efficiency among customers, shareholders and local environment to promote sustainable industrial development; and to cooperate with local projects for environmental preservation and social and cultural development involved in its immediate environment. The company has established a strategic alliance with the University of Zaragoza (UNIZAR).
